Mike was born and raised in Charleston SC the son of James and Mary Norris. Mike was a carpenter by trade, but his true passion was long line commercial fishing. His passion became his profession. Mike and I started dating in June of 1987 and were married on March 25, 1989. We have a beautiful daughter, Teylor. Teylor was always Daddy's girl, she was the apple of her Daddy's eyes. While Mike was away fishing we received her graduation pictures, I mailed one to the boat house in NY, along with one of myself, it had been 3 months since he left to go fishing. Later I was told he was so proud, he went around the whole dock showing everyone his "2 girls." Mike was due to come home on Friday, November 17th, 2006 but GOD called him home on Wednesday, November 15th 2006. He is now sailing on the ships of Heaven and fishing with the Angels. Mike is loved and missed so much by his wife, Sharon, daughter Teylor, his #1 son (our pug Meko), his parents, James and Mary Norris, a brother Jamie Norris, Uncle Jerry, Uncle Ronnie, 5 nieces and 1 great Niece, and the many lives and hearts he touched. He will always and forever be my soul mate, and will always own my heart. Teylor will always remember a quote from the movie The Perfect Storm, "It's not fish you're buying, it's men's lives"

♥I did not see you close your eyes, or hear your last faint sigh, I only heard that you were gone, too late to say goodbye. A part of my heart he took with him, but his love he left me to keep, so we will never really be parted, the bond between us is too deep. The tears in my eyes I can wipe away, the aches in my heart will always stay.♥

♥His Smile ♥

Though his smile is gone forever, and his hand I cannot touch, I still have so many memories, of the one I loved so much. His memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has him in His keeping, I have him in my heart.

♥ I Still Miss You ♥
This yearning in my heart. This confusion in my mind .The words left unspoken, Haunts me all the time. Every day I watch pass by with emptiness in my life, and a hole in my heart, where only you belong! There are nights I wake up crying, and wishing you were here. To hold me in your arms, and kiss away my tears. There is something that keeps me holding on - What I'll never know. But one day things will go my way and I'll have you back in my arms.

<The greatest gift of all,,,love

♥ I will Love, Honor, & Cherish YOU, for ALL the days of MY Life! I love & miss you, Mike more than words can express.

♥Baby, You used to talk about how great the fishing was in the Grand Banks, you would always get so excited when the time of the year came to make that great trip, the trip you always looked forward to. Baby, you thought fishing was so good on those Grand Banks, I bet you are finding that fishing on God's Grand Banks, is the greatest of all. Oh Mike, I miss you so very much baby! I love you with all of my heart and soul! "To the higher, higher, heavens baby!"♥
