Mommy's Angel

Shanika NIcole Moore was born on April 5,2003. She was born to the proud parent of Samantha Freeman. Shanika's nickname was "Nicole" which was her middle name. Nicole departed this life at the early age of 1. She was murdered by her father Raymond Moore. Nicole was here on earh for a short time but she was her mother's angel. Nicole left behind a little brother Chauncey Lamar Freeman. Nicole will never be forgotten. She will always have a hollow place in my heart. 

I want to thank my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to go on with life this tragedy in my past. For making me see that none of this was my fault, it was just her time to go.I want to thank everyone in my family for being my rock because without you all none of this would be possible. My mom for being there and understanding. My grandmother who passed away in October of 2005, you were the reason in remained strong. My grandfather, I know that we don't see eye to eye but I love more than words can express. To the Simmons Family, with all of u in my corner i have come to learn the power of God. Knowing how powerful he is wonderul.To my teacher, Mrs. Eiland at Ferndale for helping me create this webpage for my daughter. To my friend Jameelah, for helping me put the music together. A Letter To You Mommy

Mom, please don't feel guilty. It was just my time to go.

I see you feeling sad and the tears just seem to flow.

We all come to earth for our lifetime and for some its not many years.

I don't want you to keep crying, you are shedding so many tears.

I haven't really left you even though it may seem so

I have gone to my heavenly home and I'm closer than you know

Just believe that when you say my name, I'm standing next to you.

I know you long to see me, but there's nothing I can do

But I'll send you messages and hope you understand

That when it's time for you to "crossover" I'll be there to take your hand.
