Welcome to the Steven M. Johnson Memorial
I built this memorial to honor Steven but I am not related to him. We spent a lot of time together. Steven took his own life,  I don't want to remember how he died but how he lived. He was only 18 and lived life to the fullest. I will never forget Steven.  Bless be his memory.

Steven was born at Savannah, Georgia to Steven E. and Mareesa E.(Newman) Johnson. He grew up in Minnesota and attended schools at RCW & BOLD where he excelled at wrestling, football and golf. Steven also enjoyed snowmobiling, snowboarding, fishing, listening to music and visiting with his friends. He especially loved spending time with his Grandpa Doug and Grandma Elaine. He is survived by father Steve, sister Heather, brother Cody, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and hundreds of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Harold Johnson, mother Mareesa and stepfather Jeremy Abrahamson, uncle Michael W. Jackson, uncle Darold Johnson, aunt Sandra (Johnson) Baugartner and great uncle Norman Linde.

"My Angel In The Sky" by Tanya Kendall
"My angel in the sky, who comes to me in dreams at night. You left me without a single word, but when I close my eyes, your voice is heard. Telling me you'll be alright, that you're not scared, you're in the light. And now whenever I need you near, I close my eyes and you appear. He's my angel in the sky, who comes to me in dreams at night. To let me know that he's alright, he's with God, he's in the light."

"Every Place" (unknown)
"Mother, please don't mourn for me. I'm still here, though you don't see. I'm right by your side each night and day, and within your heart, I long to stay. My body is gone, but I'm always near. I'm everything, you feel, see or hear. My spirit is free, but I'll never depart, as long as you keep me alive in your heart. I'll never wander out of your sight. I'm the brightest star on a summer night. I'll never be beyond your reach. I'm the warm, moist sand when you're at the beach. I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around and the pure white snow that blankets the ground. I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond, and the clear, cool water in a quiet pond. I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring and the first warm raindrop that April will bring. I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine, and you'll see that the face in the moon is now mine. When you start thinking there's no one to love you, you can talk to me through the Lord above you. I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees, and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze. I'm the hot, salty tears that flow when you weep and the beautiful dreams that come when you sleep. I'm the smile you see on a baby's face, Just look for me, Mom....I'm every place."

"For those I love, For those who love me..." (unknown)
"When I am gone, release me, let me go..I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears, Be happy that we had so many years, I gave you my love. You can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone! And then, when you must come this way alone...I'll greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home."

"I'll lend you for a while a child" by Edgar Guest
I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said. "For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years,or twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief." "I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you. Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain, Not hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?" "I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done! For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may, And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay, But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!"

I , even  I , am He who comforts you.

Isaiah 51:12

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:17-18

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

Psalm 55:22
