On what would have been Thomas's 24th birthday here on earth; he now spends it in heaven. All those that loved him while he was here; love him still. The missing and longing for him never ceases.
I also lost a son, Angela. He died from a little know disease in May of 2007. This disease kills within days of contact. It killed my son in 4. Forever 18.
So sorry for your loss of your son, Thomas. From one parent to another that has lost their precious son;
With only memories left of them.......

Angela, I write to you today because I too know those words so very well when they tell you your son died at the scene. They haunt me. After all was said and done those are the only words I remember and the ones which made me scream because I knew they signaled the end to my precious son's life. So I am thinking of you today, 4 years after and asking Thomas to whisper sweet words of comfort into his Mom's ears

I remember every single day after school at St. Elizabeth Seton we would walk home together... everyday. Clowning! We would make a couple stops at stanley's cornerstore throughout the week. Then we would walk some of the different girls all the way to their houses. Flirts! I will never forget them memories! When you scored your first points on the basketball team we played on at St. Elizabeth you did a cart-wheel on the court during the game. Wow bro, priceless moments! We got to many memories, from the art museum to you walking inside stnanley's with a basketball in your shirt and the bagger thought you was seriously pregnant! You was always welcome to my come to my grandmother house after school just as i was welcome to come to yours and wait fro practice to start! It just crazy how these events are just memories that i keep now and am not able to add to beacause your gone. Well just know that those memories will replay all the time and will not be lost, and you will never be forgotten!!! Well I will definitely see you when I gete there. Rest In Peace BRO!

I looked up to him as a big brother eventhough we're only a year apart and I only knew him for almost 4 years. He was a big part of my life. He is always going to be in my heart. He always protected me. I could call him crying if a boy broke my heart and he could call me if a girl broke his heart. We were each others emotional support and when he past away I didnt know what to do. I didnt have my brother to call. Well Thomas I miss you dearly. You're always in my heart.
